BestCellar Book Bar LLC was formed in December 2023. Devon Powers is the majority owner and managing member of the woman-owned business. Devon’s father, Pete Powers, is a minority owner and member of the business. The business is located at 9560 Main Street, Suites 2-3, in Clarence.
BestCellar Book Bar is an independent bookstore bar and café. This unique concept affords our customers the opportunity to purchase new books, read a book in private, work remotely, or relax and socialize with friends, all in a subdued environment with drinks and small plate foods.
Our independent bookstore will include bestsellers from many different genres. Our food menu consists of 10 to 15 items and includes baked goods, dips, soups, charcuterie boards, and desserts. We will have 8 craft beers on tap and other beer and non-alcoholic options in cans. Our wine selection will be diverse and include wines from California, Washington State, Italy, Spain, Germany, France, and New Zealand.
Our space provides several different seating areas and options. The most unique aspect of our space is the semi-private room for book clubs or writing groups. This room will include seating for 15 and can be reserved at no charge. Drinks and food can be ordered in advance.
BestCellar Book Bar is a community space designed to foster relationships with friends, family, and, most importantly, books. With that spirit in mind, we intend to incorporate author signings, trivia nights, game nights, etc.
